DeleteYou look so gorgeous (you always do anyway)! I love the piping detail!
ReplyDeleteObrigada Suzy !
DeleteIt's stunning! I love everything about it and am now tempted to make one myself. I know you said you didn't make any changes, but what was the sizing like - did you follow the sizing chart on the back or did you know in advance to make a smaller/bigger size than the measurements indicated?
ReplyDeleteThank you Florence, answering your question.. I normally cut a size UK 12(US 10) and add 1 cm on side seam and 3 cm on zipper seams as fitting insurance, so I can tweak later .I still mark the original size 12 with chalk. If I am in doubt I cut one size larger and pin fit, if too big, I re cut it. Im tall too and that make my hemlines higher then on most people.
DeleteI like the colour and the piping detail, plus that super shirt makes a great outfit! Love it! Did you made the shirt too?
ReplyDeletegracias Marilo.. no The shirt is from forever 21.
DeleteThis is so fantastic. I love everything about it. Never noticed this pattern before but might have to add it to the to do list.
ReplyDeleteWow, Rachel, this is fantastic. I have got that pattern too - must get round to making it! I *love* the piping and pockets - that really makes the skirt for me!
