Inspiration: Something to wear with V8674. Version C a.k.a Sherlock's horse
Pattern: Cynthia Rowley Tulip Skirt 2512 mix version.
Level: Easy- beginners
Fabric: Same as the cape Mohair wool.
Needle: Universal 90
Pattern skill: Zipper and topstitching
Year: Modern A/W 2013
Details and Notions: 8in zipper
Time to complete: 3 hours. I had to remove the invisible zipper as it was getting stuck and add a exposed one instead.
Will you make it again? I have made it already in denim, in wool flannel, as an apron, and in cotton sateen and now in mohair wool. I guess the next one it's in linen.
What did you particularly like or dislike about this pattern: I love this pattern and said many times. There is nothing else to add.
What I could have done better? Zipper. I will re- do again. This wool was not the best match for the pattern. I used a light wool for facing but If happen again I would use a petersham ribbon.
Conclusion: Another wardrobe staple.
Photo shoot camera: Olympus D 475+ Gorilla tripod.
